FiberScanONE™ confirms the great success of the predecessor FiberScan™MKII,
world's first microwave consistency meter, who led the way to change
forever the technology of the consistency meters, setting what is now a
standard in the paper industry.
FiberScanONE™ accurately measures the consistency and dewatering in the
forming section of pulp and paper machines.
The instrument is a key for process optimization and cost savings.
Efficient production at lower cost can be achieved ensuring that it is not
used more vacuum than the correct required for proper dewatering in the
forming section.
Sheet dryness leaving the forming section also has a great impact on energy
consumption: 1% higher dryness in the forming section translates in 6%
improvement in the dryer section.

forming section efficiency and chemicals performances.

FiberScanONE™, is the world's first microwave consistency meter.
Microwave technology doesn't require any permission to use, transport or
store the instrument, unlike instruments using gamma scattering
technologies. This results in financial savings for the user of
FiberScanONE™.
FiberScanONE™ measures purely the stock mass, therefore the effect of the
forming fabric is minimal, and precisely measured by the instrument.
Additionally, the accuracy of the instrument further improves exactly where
needed, close to the couch roll. In this way extremely accurate values of
consistency can be obtained, when compared to other technologies.
Performance matter
Unlike other instruments, FiberScanONE™'s multi-patented microwave
technology, allows the unique consistency measurements of water thickness up
to 50mm (50.000gsm), with no limitations on machines producing
brown grades or pulp where the slice opening is often higher than 50mm.
This unique feature makes FiberScanONE™ the only real substitute to the
gamma scattering technology, and a dramatic improvement in data reliability
and measurements possibilities.
With a sampling speed of 1024 sps, FiberScanONE™ is the fastest consistency
meter on the market, for the best accuracy when performing FFT grammage
pulsation analysis.
FiberScanONE™ is also the fastest consistency meter to use. The new OLED
display indicates on board the whole mass profiles, and CMD scans, with
possibility to edit them.
This feature avoids to the operator the necessity to download data to a PC
for better data elaboration.
The new HostXL™ database supplied in bundle allows to plot a sophisticate
drainage survey showing not only consistency trends, but also mass, vacuum,
retention, dewatering related to the forming section machine sketch.
HostXL™ allows the comparison of various analysis, with the maximum freedom
assembling the graphs. A sophisticate FFT analysis and CMD profiles are also
included.
The data can be transferred wirelessly via BlueTooth™ or USB from the
instrument to any PC.

ergonomy, light weight.
