TWISTED ROPE Operating Properties This rope is developed for paper machines with high temperature and high moisture conditions. The strands of our twisted ropes are engineered to rotate continuously, thus improving abrasion resistance and self cleaning. A special chemical treatment is available on request, to increase abrasion and hydrolysis resistance. Available in Spun Nylon and Mixed Cotton/Nylon version. Application Spun Nylon rope is recommended for high speed machines, on critical areas such as coater and size presses Cotton/Nylon rope is recommended for medium speed machines, where low stretch and strength are required.
