SoftLite™ No matter what Yankee configuration, from flat fourdriniers, Crescent Formers to twin wires, SOFTLITE is the best combination of dewatering capacity and retention.

Operational Properties

SoftLite™ is the new forming fabric developed by Cristini for tissue and towel grades.
Produced on our dedicated looms it is a very compact design, providing high water handling capacity with  low void volume.
This structure has a very high dewatering capacity and, at the same time, a very high fiber support index.

The high FSI is the reason that SoftLite™ provides the highest level of sheet side planarity.
The high number of pattern repeats is an additional reason that SoftLite™ has the best planarity during fabric life with steady-state drainage, even when using very thin yarns.

Applications

SoftLite™ is recommended in all tissue grades.
No matter what Yankee configuration, from flat fourdriniers, Crescent Formers to twin wires, SoftLite™ is the best combination of dewatering capacity and retention, a “must” for obtaining the highest sheet quality and softness.

SOFTLITE  ST

SOFTLITE  ST  is recommended in all high speed machines and for all machine configurations, from flat fourdriniers to gap former configurations.

SOFTLITE  LE

SOFTLITE LE  is recommended on all applications where the Energy consumption or guiding problems are real issues.
To address these, we use our dedicated material,  Polimaster, “activated” polyester with low coefficient of friction.

SOFTLITE  XL

SOFTLITE  XL  is recommended for situations that involve sheets with abrasive fillers or generally for all high abrasion machines.
