Covid-19: Announcement to our Valued Business Partners

Amid the current world Cov-19 crisis, our primary focus has been on the health of our employees and business partners. We are committed to maintaining our supply chain and we wanted to keep you informed on Cristini’s current state of operations:

Italian Operations

As you have certainly read about or watched on the news, Italy and more specifically the province of Bergamo has been the epicenter of the Covid-19 crisis in Europe. The Cristini Family had made the difficult but necessary decision to shutter its 2 Italian plants for a short period to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The Italian Minister of the Interior announced on March 21st the shutdown of all industry except those deemed essential and their direct suppliers. Cristini has been certified as an essential supplier and has received its authentication code to resume operations. We are happy to announce that all our Italian sites are now fully operational after a short government ordered shutdown. We are following all government regulations to ensure the health and safety of our employees. We have also implemented strict sanitary and operational measures to ensure that our employees can operate in a safe and environment.

Canadian Operations

Our Canadian operations have continued to operate on a full-time basis. On March 23rd, the government of the province of Quebec announced the closure of all nonessential industry within the province. The pulp and paper industry as well as its direct suppliers have been confirmed as an essential industry therefore, we will continue to be fully operational. We will also be adding weekend shifts in order to absorb recent peaks in production caused by market demands. In this location we have also implemented all the health and safety measures to ensure that our employees can operate in a safe environment.

Service Visits

The safety of our employees, consultants and business partners is our main priority therefore our local sales and service representatives have been instructed to work from their home offices as much as possible. They have also been instructed to abide by their state and federal government regulations as well as to abide by the instructions given by each customer location and/or group. Should any emergencies arise where our presence is required please reach out to your local representative or regional sales manager.

We will continue to keep you informed on our situation as new information comes to light. Your local sales/service representative or sales manager will be in touch to give you information for your specific orders and inventory situation. During these difficult times we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.
